They did a combo pattern offer, for a bow-tie short sleeved blouse and shorts, for a contest they ran (I voted for this one, though if they’d have shown the top with pants, THAT would have been my combo!) Anyway, I ordered the simplicity one – which has two skirts, cropped wide pants and the shorts. I’ll be making shorts, in a big need of shorts for this summer. And the blouse is just cute.
But first, this weekend, a bit of shopping. We have these Mom2Mom sales around town, and two are in East Lansing this weekend, so I’m very excited to be getting some good stuff for Peanut for spring, summer and fall. I wish they had a Mom2Mom sale for mom stuff too – you know, good handbags, fun shoes and such. But the kid stuff is pretty fun. I get just as excited!
This weekend, I need to pare out some too-small items, wash her spring clothes that I bought new, and it’ll be a good time (I always rewash the mom2mom stuff).
