Cutting new projects

I cut out the BWoF tunic from the 7/08 issue – it has an a-line shape, a CF pleat and a curvy yoke. It’s otherwise very simple with sideseam pockets. I cut it from the purple linen look fabric I bought in Toronto. I also have the Hot Patterns Sugar Babe jacket to cut from this same fabric. And I also cut a brown cotton knit gauze sarong halter top. It’ll take me a week or so to sew these, probably next weekend, but cutting is one of the longest parts of the process.

All of these items mix with my striped silk pants from the Italian silk I bought in Florence. And a silver cropped 50s style swing jacket I got secondhand. Nice!
