Finally, hot weather has arrived (I admit, I like it hot). So I am thinking next up is the dyed garments – the PR Swap maxi dress, a Burda Style sundress for Peanut and the Kai shirt for the little guy. I’m told ‘sew the garments first’ before dyeing, and so I will. I think I’ll cut them out tomorrow. I will have to find all-cotton thread (or it won’t dye) but I’m sure I have some in stash, even if it’s not white, it’ll get dyed!
It also inspires me to sew a skirt (which might actually happen), right out of the envelope, Christine Jonson’s A-Line Skirt pattern, in a fun print. I’ll bet I can get that done in an hour.
