Leggings, done

Boy that was easy! Sewed the microfleece powerstretch leggings in under an hour. I do need to shorten them a smidge (they’re bunchy around the ankles) but they are fantastic! I did the serged-on waistband with zigzag topstitch and it looks great, just like RTW. Plus the leggings are so warm and fleecy. I think they’ll be lovely for skiing and bicycling.

Now, I have to thread the serger with pink thread and sew two pairs of thermal leggings for the peanut, and two tops for myself. Sometime in the next few weeks. I think by feb 1st I need to be working on swimwear, so I’d better order the patterns this week.

Speaking of which, a couple more Vogue Elements popped up on the ebay search. mmm, delish. I’ll be looking at a couple (several, I already have). I’m sure they’re looking online and saying “gee, someone keeps buying these things up from other people, I’ll sell mine. And speaking of which, I need to get sewin’ on those. The challenge should be a spring one, I think. Moto jacket cut out sometime before Florida trip and sewn after?
