What I want to leave behind, and 3 lists

March 9th, 2010

Spring. I want to shed this skin, shed winter’s grime, leave problems behind, start new, every day, sow seeds of future growth every day. I got this idea from a blog. Here’s three lists

What I like

  1. sunshine
  2. my baby (toddler)
  3. making things
  4. helping people
  5. making more things
  6. visual inspiration
  7. cooking
  8. gardening
  9. sewing
  10. knitting
  11. reading to my daughter
  12. volunteering
  13. bicycling
  14. sailing

What I don’t like

  1. long, endless projects
  2. difficult people
  3. people who don’t own up to their responsibilities
  4. people who want to stay put and complain about it
  5. doing the same thing over and over
  6. staying put
  7. staying indoors
  8. tantrums
  9. stressful days
  10. feeling not rich

What I’m good t

  1. meeting new people
  2. sewing
  3. making things
  4. marketing
  5. web deveopment
  6. design
  7. bigger thinking
  8. helping people
  9. volunteering, organizing and leading
  10. being a mother
  11. being a friend

So, now where does this lead me? Dunno. I want to make more money. I’m not sure I can do it in my current situation. Why? Too much overhead, not enough direct productivity. I could make more on my own. But I don’t really know that I want to.
