Sew Paradise

sew much sewing

I cut out the handbag for the Pattern Review contest. Used one of my books. Measured it off. It’s not a big bag, but those handles didn’t need a big bag.

I am excited to sew it – and in surfing Hot Patterns and Vogue, I think of so many new things to sew! There’s just not enough time to do them all – but thinking about them is really fun.

A couple more projects on the summer must sew list – the brown gauze empire tube top and the gold knit empire tube top – both tunic length (can be worn over a swimsuit as a coverup or over wide leg pants with tall wedges.)

So many things to sew! So many things to dream about sewing. I’m so glad I’m back, engaged in my hobbies and happy about it. Really.

I'm Ann. I've been sewing since I was 9. My first project was a denim wrap skirt. Thrifting is a way of life for me - both eco-chic and financially savvy.
