It looks *just* like my blog! A gorgeous, sunny, perfectly blue sky July day. I have been sewing during naptime – so far, part of a maxi dress, part of a baby romper, a little girl skirt, and one buttonhole of twelve on a maxi sarong dress that converts to a shorter dress/skirt and a swimsuit wrap. It’s a good weekend. We are going to stay another day, but tomorrow is at least a half-day work day, and I probably won’t get a chance to sew. It’s been such a delightful weekend. Today we went berry picking, and had a picnic at a lighthouse. The beauty up here is inspiring. I sometimes want to chuck our lives where we live and move up here. Except for having to work for a living!
So I will try to infuse our lives at home with the beachiness we have when here. Go to the waterpark. Spend time in our fun summer clothes, and sewing fun summer stuff. This weekend is restorative, with sewing, with playtime, with sunshine and quiet.
