I ordered a cute pair of flats with a leather flower detail on the toe last fall. Returned them for a bigger size. Those never arrived, so a month later, I called, and said “where are my shoes?” and they said “UPS confirms them delivered”. So I got them to credit me and sent out a new pair. Wear them for a month, maybe more, and, one day, my back-yard neighbor goes over to our next-door neighbor’s house, (they are gone 1/2 the year) and finds the package there. It’s addressed to me. Their sidewalk is completely snowed in, but the UPS guy leaves it on their doorstep (with my address) anyway. So that’s the case of the missing shoes. I request (three times) a return form from the company. They finally send one, and I pay to ship the duplicate shoes back.
Today, in the mail, comes ANOTHER PAIR of the same shoes, same size!! Aargh! So I just decided they will stay in my closet as backups/when these wear out. I do wear the pair I have all the time – they’re ballerina flats, very comfortable. I seem to be destined to have these shoes!
