Sew Paradise

Winter wonderland

This evening I had to scrape a good 3/4″ of heavy wet snow off my car with an umbrella. I was dressed in a long trench coat and rain boots, which tells you what the weather was like when I arrived at work this morning! Tonight, well, let’s just say the spread in SELF magazine about what to wear cross country skiing might come in handy tomorrow!

It’s our first snowstorm of the season. And I no sooner got used to fall when winter arrived! I don’t mind winter in December. It’s March that gets tiring. And it is pretty, for all the howling wind and sideways snow.

I'm Ann. I've been sewing since I was 9. My first project was a denim wrap skirt. Thrifting is a way of life for me - both eco-chic and financially savvy.
