I stopped at my local fave consignment store and got a superb leather jacket – black, fitted. Very nice. On clearance. I also picked up my unsold maternity. I’ll style them all up and try them on Ebay. If not, they’ll go into the closet into the ‘maybe’ section.
I printed off a capsule wardrobe photo from a travel clothing web site. It’s been on my desk for two weeks and inspired me to think about this week’s work wardrobe. I’ve pulled out an old skirt suit – a double breasted swingy jacket with a-line skirt (below knee) I wore the skirt last week, the jacket, probably tomorrow, with jeans. It’s my half day so I can be snappy casual. If I could only think of this without some inspiration…
I did find style magazines that helped – but they also fueled new ‘wants’. But I don’t feel bad about the leather jacket, no way. It’s a classic.
