The dress is done, it is gorgeously beachy and elegant at the same time. I used the directions at SharonSews, but added a hem ruffle and pleated ribbon trim. When Sharon has you trim off the side of your fabric (as you won’t need that much width), save that. You can use that as your ruffle, trimming your bottom hem to accommodate the ruffle’s width and your desired hem depth. I added ribbon trim to just above the ruffle, simply ironed it on using Steam a Seam. Yacht club wedding pics coming this weekend!
