When I was younger, I loved receiving the JCrew catalog. Well, I still do, only now I like to get it online myself, so I’m not tempted when a paper one comes in the mail all the time. And, also, I think they gave up on me for a while there. But what I loved most was that thing that Jcrew does so darn well – well-cut classics in a million great colors. And the names! Oh, they evoke summer don’t they? Pool, for instance, the favorite word for that pale aqua that, well, looks like a pool! I would buy almost anything if it was called “pool”. Or tangerine. So juicy. How about Aloe? Or Hibiscus? Aah, the colors of summer. Oh and Jcrew makes some awesome swimsuits, I am pretty sure I have one, in Pool, from at least 15 years ago – still in great shape, still in style.
