The MakeNine Sewing planner
is for the #makenine movement on Instagram where makers commit to 9 projects for the upcoming year and document how they did all year long.
This is our one page sewing wardrobe planner that lets you plan a #memade Capsule wardrobe by taking something in your closet and sewing two things that coordinate. It’s much easier than trying to build 7 or 12 or 30 pieces that work together, and it works with what you already have ( a more sustainable wardrobe building plan!)
Easy Take One, Make Two sewing planner
Go grab something from your closet, and then two fabrics from stash – the EASY way to build your wardrobe. This planner is one page for easy wardrobe building and planning. This planner is super easy for building a wardrobe one piece at a time. We all want to sew “five easy pieces” but sometimes, to be honest, we are lucky to get one of them sewn. This lets you take one and make two (or even take two and make one!) and then build on it by taking one of THOSE garments and starting with a fresh piece of fabric and building onto it as you go.
August Bandeau Blouson Top sewing pattern
The August Blouson tube top is a pattern I designed from something my mom had given me and I have had for decades and continue to wear. It’s a very simple tube top with an elastic top and an elastic waist and then a bloused section between. Think of this as the grown up tube top. I wear this with a stretchy tube bra (Truelove is my favorite) so even my DD cups are happy with this top. My shoulders absolutely love it.

Boyfriend Jacket Patch Pocket
Add this to any boyfriend jacket sewing pattern. Designed for the Christine Jonson Boyfriend Jacket, but any Boyfriend Jacket without it’s own pocket pattern can use this one. Also great for cardigans too!
This Boyfriend Jacket pocket was designed for the pocket-less Christine Jonson Boyfriend Jacket, but it can be applied to ANY Boyfriend blazer sewing pattern that doesn’t contain a patch pocket. I sew them LINED with a foldover cuff (it’s easier to sew pockets if they are lined and they are nicer!) See this pocket in action on two of my Boyfriend blazers (in woven fabrics) here.
