Whenever I bike or ski, I think about sewing projects. But I guess I stop putting power to the pedals, because hubs will say “are you pedaling back there?’ But I got to thinking ahead – I need cross country ski leggings (Christine Jonson Basewear One) in stretchy fleece, a nursing wicking turtleneck – fuscia pink wicking knit in view 2 of Elizabeth Lee Nursing classics 207, view 2. I’ll still be able to wear my Columbia gray fleece jacket, or my Nike dri-fit Livestrong jacket if it’s warmer out. though the Columbia jacket is a bit big now. I could also make another Nursing Classics coat, in the shorter length too. But that’s one more coat I am not sure I need. And I could also make this turtleneck.
Of course I could make the tulip overlay one in a microfleece, and the more princess seamed t-neck in the wicking knit too. But I’m not likely to wear them together, so perhaps just the pink? I’m pondering this. Would I be warm enough in the wicking t-neck with fleece jacket? Not sure. That fleece isn’t warm enough usually. A vest would do it, too. I have the navy sailing club vest.
I’ll have to give some thought to the winter ski gear. But I definitely have stuff in stash to sew it with.
