Stamp a big ole DONE stamp on that bag of projects, ’cause I finished ’em all!
Woo hoo!
I’m not even sure I remember the final tally but here’s a shot:
four black and white batik pillow covers
denim coatdres – BWoF 6/04 issue
Hot Patterns Sugar Babe jacket – purple linen blend
cap sleeve tunic BWoF 7/08 issue
Lavender baby dress – androsia from Bahamas (batik)
Brown baby dress and bloomer pants
Brown sarong tunic
Red print dress – Elizabeth Lee Nursing Classics 307 view 2
Whew! Is that a list or what? My first thought is “is that all?” but I sewed at least two hours a day for almost 13 days straight. I’ve had a blast, and contrary to what you might think, I’m already thinking of the NEXT projects to sew!
Tomorrow I clip them all to the umbrella and take a group photo. I’ll also have hubs take a shot of me in the denim coatdress. Which came out superbly.
How’d the whole vacation go? Wonderfully! I sewed, I played, I relaxed and I hardly thought about work at all. I contemplated being a SAHM (but only if my mother comes to live with me so I don’t have to cook and clean, LOL). But I’ll be back to work on Monday (in my new denim coatdress!)
