Doesn’t it feel good to finish up a UFO that’s a couple years old? Even better, one that I can put into action tomorrow, first thing, in an outfit that I have imagined for a while now! My review of this Christine Jonson Cross Your Heart Tee is on PR here.
I started this almost exactly two years ago. I didn’t mark anything (Christine herself says she hates marking, so if there’s a mark, it’s critical, and “if I say to mark, Ann, mark”. So I had enough to cut another front and inset panel, and rescue this that was almost a wadder. But in the mean time, I got pregnant, unexpectedly, at age 40, and am finally, finally getting this done (my 42nd b-day was two weeks ago).
*and because the FTC requires, I have to disclose that I love Christine Jonson Patterns so much I offered to design their new web site in 2008, and three years hence, we are a solid marketing team. I wouldn’t tell you the patterns are great, or even represent Christine if they were not just amazing. Easy to sew with professional results even for a slightly lazy sewist like me.
