The problem is I forget I have half of it with the state of our jammed closets. So in the new house, a new commitment to wearing all the stuff that I have. Anything that’s slightly not quite, goes to charity or to resale. This is my semi-annual post on the state of our closets. I love this switchover – it’s like ‘everything new’ in my closet. From forgotten espadrilles tucked in a box under my trousers, now to be paired with linen wide leg trousers and a sleeveless top to crisp skirts just waiting to be mated with a cardigan, scarf and ballet flats. I have a GREAT wardrobe!
And I even realized a ruana I love that I had nothing to really ‘go with’, I bought two new pieces of fabric for tops that match (it’s a dusty peach and a warm sage, both of which I bought in rayon/lycra last week. The new crossover top with an elbow length banded sleeve, worn with cream silk pants and the ruana? perfect spring or cool summer day outfit.
