I get bored with my closet. So I sew, or shop. But really, if someone would just come in and narrate my wardrobe, I’d like it more. So here goes:
Scoop up this merino wool turtleneck in the most luscious shade of grape. It’s the perfect skinny, long shape under a cropped navy wool herringbone jacket. Pair the duo with the softest charcoal wool flannel pants you’ll ever own. Peeking out from under the trousers, wine suede wedge pumps. The gold shoulder-grazing chandelier earrings will make you feel like Cleopatra.
See? not bad, and that’s just a purple turtleneck, navy jacket and charcoal pants (tomorrow’s outfit). I’ll wear them under my cream boucle swing coat I think.
Back to work, bleah, after the holiday weekend. It’s hard this time of year. So gotta feel good about going back.
