I’m off to the American Sewing guild conference on thursday night (wish I was going the whole week, but it’s $$ and that’s a lot of time away from the baby.) Hubs is going too, he’s going to watch her, which was a huuuuge thing for me – the in laws are really too old and frail to do this, and I worried about a sitter from 7a to 9p. She’ll have her daddy all day, and that will be good for them both.
I’m taking three classes, all hopefully will help me with fitting and finishing – my two biggest issues in sewing right now. I’m looking forward to the conference!
I’m also looking forward to meeting a few local sewists. And I was pleased to see DIY Style is at the conference, but I’ll miss the DIYStyle day on thursday, alas. That reminds me I ought to get out my ipod and update it this week, subscribe to a few more podcasts/blogs.
