Doh! I thought I had wool jersey in charcoal, but as it turns out it was a remnant that I’d already cut into. But I did make the slate ones, and with a few things that I’m not happy about, the pants themselves are a lovely shape and fit. I will make more, but I will likely not use the maternity banded waist, rather just alter the front of the pants using the existing waistband. But they are definitely wearable, and I am pretty sure I will wear them. I do have a gift certificate to Fabric Gallery so there is a shopping trip in my future at least.
