Somehow I managed to wedge in three new pieces of fabric, including five yards of light-as-air, but bulky boucle! Thank goodness I’m sewing a lot.
While I was there, I found the coordinating funky paisley knit that went with the capsule with the aubergine sweaterknit! I didn’t think I had any more of it, but I do! Perfect! It’s THE fabric to go with the sweaterknit (and a pair of knit pants – perhaps one of the Vogue knit patterns I bought last fall!) I’m geeked. After the cape, I must get sewing on this.
Anyway, here’s that new fabric: Both of the knits are for CJ dresses – but not right now (can’t nurse – or pump – in either of these). The boucle is for the long version of the double collar princess coat. Click on the image to get a closeup view.
I’m so jealous you got to go to CJ’s open house and got fabric! Waaaaaaaaa
Love your white top! and the pintucks really step it up a notch. I finished another HP weekender top for MYSELF! Yay, be careful with the neckline it is wide and low-ish. I took it up a bit.
I’m still searching for cape fabric! I wish I would have bought some at the booth at the ASG conference… the wool guy had nice stuff!
