No, not me. Though I do intend to sew myself some new gifts for nursing, these are for my 2nd cousin. She’s a younger mom, aged 21, so I want to make her something stylish that she’ll feel good about using, and encourage her to continue nursing. So I’m making her a stylish poncho, and a reversible baby sling. If I had more time – as I perused my patterns – I’d love to make her a diaper clutch and diaper bag, too, but hey that’s too ambitious. And then I think, what do I need for my second time around – maybe some summer nursing accessories. I’m not usually a nursing cover person (and I do have one of the strap around the neck apron styles), but for a new baby or a really active one, it’s helpful sometimes.
No, what I need is new nursing nightgowns and at least another dress (for which I have stash fabric). Maybe I could tuck in some helpful things like Lansinoh cream, and some nursing pads in the stash. Serge up a few out of cloth diapers.
