I’m finally making a pair of sailor pants. These classic button front pants are all over the place (at least on my sewing magazines – in 4/2012 of BurdaStyle, and again in 8/2012, Sew News August has them too). I have some peach twill that I’ve been meaning to make into some wide leg casual pants, and this sailor pattern is perfect. http://www.burdastyle.com/pattern_store/patterns/sailor-pants-042012. Two BurdaStyle members have sewn them and I like their versions (more than BurdaStyle’s own styling in the magazine, actually) so I’m diving in. Traced, will cut today (making a 20 petite / that’s about a 10 petite in sewing patterns and about a 6 petite in US RTW sizing)
