Choose a yard or even a little less of fabric for the top (you’ll likely need 2 -3 for the skirt so just add an extra yard for the top.) Next, grab one of these free skirt patterns. The Mood fabrics Chloe knit wrap skirt with contrast panel and a side buckle closure. Try this in a 1×1 “baby” rib knit to go with your tube top or an ITY knit, which is great for warmer weather. Both of these have some “weight” to them but not too much. A cotton/lycra knit would also be an excellent choice for this knit set.
